Teams to end poverty

The initiative

"Teams to end Poverty" is a global communication and partnerships initiative that is designed to involve the general public in anti-poverty actions. It has been launched by UNDP and seeks to garner support for achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

50 celebrities, including Drogba, Ronaldo and Zidane, participate in the initiative and are getting involved in specific anti-poverty activities.

The advertisements under the initiative have been produced thanks to the contribution of photographers, celebrities and advertising agencies who are donating their time and talent for the fight against poverty. Hundreds of newspapers and TV channels have already broadcasted and published these advertisements worldwide.

The initiative contributes to fund-raise for development projects on the field though specific events .
